CERTIFICATION-The American Tae Kwon Do Academy is an independent school with an emphasis on traditional martial arts training. We are honored to have black belt instructors, as well as junior instructors, holding certifications from the American Tae Kwon Do Academy, World Tae Kwon Do Federation, World Chang Moo Kwan and/or United States Moo Sul Kwan. The American Tae Kwon Do Academy certificate of rank is presented to students who successfully demonstrate established criteria both in class and at promotion test. Tests are judged by a panel of one or more black belts from the American Tae Kwon Do Academy. TUITION-White Belt tution is $60 per month ($30/mo for each additional student in the immediate family) Yellow Belt and up is $70 per month ($35/mo for each additional student in the immediate family) We do offer a $10 discount on above tuition costs if fees are paid during "early week", which is the first week of the month. Tuition is due on or before the 15th of each month. PROMOTION TESTS-(American Tae Kwon Do Academy Certificate only) $50 for gup ranks (under Black Belt test) $150 for Black Belt test UNIFORMS- $30 (White student uniform w/ belt) $50 (Red Belt uniform) Please wear sweat pants and a T-shirt if you do not have a uniform. No shorts or tank tops please. PERFECT ATTENDANCE-All students with perfect attendance for the month will be entered into a drawing for an attendance prize. A name will be drawnon the last night if each month. Students will be required to have a signed waiver of liability on file before beginning classes. This form may be printed from the website and brought to your first class. Class Schedule-We are located at 223 W. Main Street in West Frankfort, Illinois. Classes are held on Mondays and Thursdays. We currently offer classes for ages sox through adult. The academ will be closed on holidays and when Franklin County schools are not in session due to bad weather. You may also check this website or facebook. We will post all closings as soon as possible in the Student Message Section. CLASSES: Ages 6-11 Monday and Thursday 5pm-6:15pm. Ages 12-Adult Moday and Thursday 7:15pm-8:30pm. |
